The Paralympic Games will be held from 29th August to 9th September 2012. Our standard rental rates apply during this period. Tickets for the Paralympic Games go on sale in September 2011.

The Olympic Park - the venue for Athletics, Swimming, Diving, Cycling Basket Ball, Hockey, Water Polo, Handball and more.



The nearest stations are Stratford Station and Stratford International Station.

From Winchmore Hill station there are several possible routes:
• Take the train from Winchmore Hill to Highbury and Islington station; change there for a train to Stratford (North London line) . Transport for London’s timing for this journey is 46 minutes
• Take a train from Winchmore Hill to Moorgate station (24 minutes) and then walk the short distance to Liverpool street Station. At Liverpool Street Station either go on National Rail to Stratford (one stop), or on the Central line Underground to Stratford . (Transport for London’s timing is 54 minutes).
• Take the train from Winchmore Hill to King’s Cross-St Pancras station (22-25 minutes). Then take the Olympic Javelin train to Stratford International (10 minutes). There is a short walk between the National and International stations at Kings Cross-St Pancras.

The nearest station is Excel on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR).
Take the train from Winchmore Hill to Moorgate. Then either walk the short distance to Bank Station or transfer on the Northern line to Bank, and take the Docklands Light Railway to Custom House-Excel station.

Lea Valley White Centre (opens April 2011) is in the Lee Valley Park and is just 8 miles from The Old Bakery. Hire a car and be there in 15-20 minutes (Google Maps timing).
By public transport, go via Finsbury Park to Tottenham Hale and take the train from there to Cheshunt or Waltham Cross stations. Transport for London timing for this journey is 45 minutes. Alternatively, you take the train from Winchmore Hill station to Moorgate, walk to Liverpool Street Station and take the train from there to Cheshunt or Waltham Cross stations.

Terms and conditions for booking accommodation at The Old Bakery during the Olympic Games period.

Guest names: The names of all guests must be provided at the time of booking. Proof of identity will be required on arrival and only those guests whose names were given will be allowed to check in. This is to prevent fraudulent booking and the selling-on of accommodation at higher rates.
Number of guests:
The maximum number of guests in each apartment cannot be exceeded. A 25% deposit must be paid promptly at the time of booking. This deposit is non-returnable. The balance must be paid by July 31st 2011. You are strongly advised to take out travel insurance which will cover you in case you have to cancel due to illness or other unforeseen problems.
Security deposit: A security deposit of £100 for Stables and £200 for Chalkley’s is required. This can be paid in the form of a cheque (£, Euros or $) which will not be cashed and will be returned to you, or destroyed, when you leave, subject, of course, to there being no damage.
